Stephen Merchant did some really excellent voice acting in Portal 2 and I just needed to animate some of it! I had done a human Wheatley design and it was pretty well received, so I thought eeyyy why not, I have to get some 2D practise in. Some parts of this are rougher than other bits, so...

SCREW YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF FRIENDSHIP, Doctor Whooves will save the day with his knowledge of ships and the french language! Even if he kind of... steers it DOWN into the water. ha I wanted to animate something in Flash just to keep in practise. MORE PONIES :D I'm so used to animating in Maya now, this was weird. Anyway. Got that out of my system now. Time to move onto other things.

The final project for my first term of my Commercial Animation class. :) We had to make a character of our choice (I chose Hogarth from the Iron Giant) jog in, say something, then get hit in the head, stagger and fall over.

Don't think you guys understand the sheer impact that NQN had on the Portal fandom. He practically MADE the image of human!Wheatley that we STILL hold onto. For people out of the loop, I'm happy to report he's working at Sony now, doing animation professionally :)
I love the character design you made for GladOS, it fits her well! Also, truly thank you for working on Mitchell’s vs. the Machines. In my opinion, it’s the best animated film on Netflix!

Wow this is old. I first seen this 10 years ago as a kid super obssesed with Portal 2. Its funny as its still my favorite game. This animation is amazing.
